Job Description The Principal Engineer, Product Architecture is responsible for technical architecture design, business requirements and delivery of 5G Advanced Network Services for T-Mobile TfB Organization, In this role you will be accountable, responsible and have ownership of T-Mobile Private Network, Mobile Edge Compute and SD-WAN architecture design and service definition to deliver best in class products for our enterprise customers. As Principal Engineer you will prepare and gain approval of architecture design, generate business requirements for technology, back office teams, billing, taxation, etc and prepare training material for the Solution Engineer teams. The role will drive technical roadmaps for each solution with technology and external vendors, provide input to feature prioritization aligned with product roadmaps and support implementation PoCs/RoVs with technology and Sales Engineers Principal Engineer, Advanced Network Services is a technical leader with good product acumen leveraging his technical background, strategic thinking, analytic skills and leadership prowess to successfully deliver innovative and differentiated products for TfB Organization Responsibilities Define Product Architecture and System Design for area of responsibility in close collaboration with product owner, technology and 3rd party vendors; deliverables include architecture design, call flows, define service KPIs and SLA/SLO, ensure standards compliance Document business requirements for product/solution and prepare BRD for the enterprise to include product description, architecture design, 3rd party vendor requirements, back office integration and requirements such as billing, taxation, reporting, commissions, CRM integration, government compliance, etc Acting in technical SME capacity for MEC and Private Networks PoCs/ROVs with candidate customers Define Go To Market strategy with product and 3rd party vendors to include 5G Advance Network Services supported deployment and sizing, Service Level Agreements, installation/commissioning and support Support procurement in negotiating contract with vendors Prepare training documentation and ensure proper training for Solution Engineering Organization Define technical and feature roadmap with product and technology teams Ensure on time delivery for customer base of product roadmap by technology organizations and 3rd party vendors. Qualifications Bachelors Degree - STEM required, MS/MBA Preferred; 7-10 years' experience in telecommunications or network engineering roles with a professional track record of successful solution sales, managing internal/external relationships in a matrix environment, technical leadership and project management, and providing strategic direction in a leadership role 7+ years of product management experience on large, complex product initiatives Technical documentation and presentation skills are required in order to convey design benefits to a wide range of audiences Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams; excellent interpersonal skills Experience working with both technical and non-technical teams to define, scope and prioritize product requirements Strong analytical and quantitative skills; bias toward making data-based decision and comfortable with analysis Excellent written and verbal communication skills Minimum Qualification At least 18 years of age Legally authorized to work in the United States Hig
