Provide culturally competent and person-centered therapeutic and counseling services for children and youth mental health programs in English, Mandarin, or Cantonese. Provide quality, affordable therapeutic services to all, regardless of income and insurance. Provide counseling and work with children and youth aged 2-24, adults, and their families. Assess and diagnose new clients at intake and develop an individualized treatment plan for each client. Provide interventions and referrals consistent with each client's treatment plan. Participate in case consultation and supervision monthly to ensure continuity of quality practice and collaborate with team members in clinical work. Write and maintain notes and treatment plans using SimplePractice. Provide psychoeducation to clients and families regarding diagnosis, prognosis, treatment, and child development. Maintain a balance between family requests and client goals.* *

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 

Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or Behavioral Science, or a related field, or the foreign degree equivalent, and 2 years of experience as a child and adolescent therapist. Experience must include each of the following:

• 2 years of experience in play therapy or as an RPT™;
• 2 years of experience with multi-system-involved children with behavioral problems and/or developmental disabilities;
• 2 years of experience with evidence-based practice;
• 2 years of experience providing comprehensive intake evaluations with multi-axial diagnoses and
• 2 years of experience in using an electronic medical health record.

Cantonese or Mandarin language proficiency is required.

WA state Mental Health Counselor License, Mental Health Counselor Associate License, Social Worker License, or Social Worker Associate License required.

CE completion in evidence-based approaches such as Play Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy required.
