Job Overview The Senior Director, Talent Management will lead the development and execution of T-Mobile talent management strategy to support the company's Enterprise People Strategy (EPS). This role will direct a team to redesign frameworks, processes, and systems related to performance management, assessment, Talent Review, and succession planning. The Senior Director will work closely with senior leadership to ensure alignment with business objectives and long-term talent management strategy, owning end-to-end executive level talent management programs and mechanisms, company wide scaleable talent assessment and review mechanisms for employees below executive, and business until specific talent plans. The role leads the enterprise Center of Excellence (COE) Talent Management team, leads a team of expert professionals aligned to business units, and executive development, including programs supporting executive high potential talent. This is not a playbook role, but an opportunity to rebuild, innovate, and make substantial step changes company wide, requiring progressive, and innovative leadership. Un-carrier Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive talent management strategies that align with the company's EPS initiatives. Partner with business leaders and HR leaders to define and establish a long-term talent strategy, including identifying critical jobs, determining talent gaps, assessing internal and external availability, and developing long-term plans to bridge gaps. Design and implement processes to support talent assessment, identification of top-tier talent, talent calibration, rewards & recognition, and succession planning. Own end-to-end executive talent management mechanisms and executive development programs, including talent reviews, succession planning, executive development planning, and executive and high potential development program design and execution. Lead and execute specific talent management projects to achieve specific line of business initiatives working with Talent Partner directs. Work with senior HR and business leaders to execute core enterprise talent strategy (80%) and build business talent plans (20%) to identify short and long-term talent needs and integrate these needs into the overarching talent strategy. Hire, develop, and lead a team of bar-raising talent management people leaders and individual contributors. Provide servant leadership, strategic direction and coaching in managing, measuring, evaluating, and developing Talent Management team. Build inspection mechanisms to audit and inspect team goals, performance, and critical projects throughout the year. Partner closely with the Workforce Analytics team to build and utilize talent management data and analytics to leverage for enterprise-wide scalable talent enablement processes, succession planning, and high-touch executive talent reviews and development programs.
