What It's Like: The cyber security engineering operations team is a 24/7 shop focused on proactively securing the T-Mobile networks. In this role you will experience a vast and ever changing set of challenges supporting teams fron across the company. If you are looking to learn cyber security, this role might be for you! What You'll Do: In this role, you will support cyber security engineering operations from microsegmentation to passwordless authentication. You will perform data and traffic reviews, configure application security, and expand your knowledge across the most diverse network in the world. Key Responsibilities: Network traffic analysis Data analytics Working with multiple partners on fast paced projects Strong desire to learn new skills and support the larger team What It Takes: Experience with computer systems in a network environment; familiarity with TCP/IP; Experience working in a TEAM environment (any). Security +; Network +; other cyber related certifications Scripting (Python or Powershell); Experience building computer systems (OS installs - Windows or Linux); experience supporting school network (or outside employment working with computer networks). Minimum Qualifications: At least 18 years of age Legally authorized to work in the United States Must have graduated within the last 12-months, OR be actively enrolled in a Bachelors or Graduate degree program Employees of T-Mobile or Metro by T-Mobile are ineligible for Internships Employer does not sponsor work visas for this position. Note that this also applies to individuals who are students in F-1 status who desire sponsorship after they complete their education. Relocation assistance may be provided to program participants who reside more than 50 miles from the internship location. Intern wages range from $20/hour to $40/hour. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on experience/location. Never stop growing!
