JOB REQUIREMENTS: Industrial Engineer - 1111 DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Position Summary Fairbanks Morse is looking for an Industrial Engineer to join our team. They will lead continuous improvement initiatives by partnering with cross functional teams including Operations, Engineering, Quality, Supplier Chain, Materials Management and Program Management to achieve organizational business goals and objectives. Principle Duties and Responsibilities * Lead efforts to improve existing manufacturing processes with the outcome of improved quality, cost reduction and increase productivity * Incorporate Lean principles into process improvement and implementation of new technology * Develop standard work, control plans and inspection methods for new and existing products * Work cross-functionally with various teams to meet organizational objectives * Monitors, analyzes, and maintains key performance indicators to assess areas for opportunity * Facilitate and lead problem solving efforts to identify root cause and implementation of countermeasures * Develops solutions to a variety of routine problems using computer and logic-based methods * Work within environmental safety and health regulations in an effort to provide a safe work environment. (for quality and Casting excellence engineer) * CAD experience required- SolidWorks preferred. * Machining/ foundry/ forge/ welding experience preferred. * position requires access or potential access to Unclassified Naval Nuclear Propulsion Information, which is Not Releasable to Foreign Nationals (NOFORN) data.
