Job Title: Billing Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Billing Specialist responsible for interpreting and maintaining aging reports, tracking property budgets, managing credit approvals, and handling collections for approximately 250 accounts. The role involves creating invoices and reconciling payments upon receipt, maintaining up-to-date knowledge on renting laws (training provided), and ensuring accurate and up-to-date account records. Additionally, the Billing Specialist will assist with general office duties as needed.

Hard Skills

  • Experience with invoicing

  • Willingness to handle high volume billing/collections

  • Soft collections experience

  • Knowledge and experience with aging reports

  • Familiarity with the credit approval process

  • Experience with Microsoft Office

  • HS Diploma or GED required

Soft Skills

  • Strong communication skills

  • Customer service demeanor

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 4 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Bend, Oregon.

Work Environment

In-office environment, primarily female staff. A fun atmosphere where former employees often remain friends.
