Job Description

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team in a technical lead role. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines, managing cloud infrastructure, and ensuring the smooth integration and deployment of software applications. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will gather requirements, design and implement solutions, optimize system performance, and establish security best practices. Additionally, you will mentor and guide the team technically, with a strong focus on enhancing quality and driving optimizations.

Key Responsibilities:

• CI/CD Pipeline Development : Design, implement, and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate code testing, integration, and deployment processes.

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) : Develop and manage infrastructure using tools like Terraform, Ansible to ensure consistent and reproducible environments.

• Cloud Management : Deploy, manage, and monitor applications in cloud environments such as AWS, optimizing for cost, performance, and security.

• Automation and Scripting : Automate routine and repetitive tasks and processes using scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell to improve efficiency and reduce manual errors.

• Monitoring and Logging : Implement and manage monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ) to ensure system health and quickly identify and resolve issues.

• Collaboration and Support : Work closely with development and operations teams to troubleshoot issues, optimize application performance, and support release management.

• Security Compliance : Implement security best practices in the DevOps process, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

• Containerization and Orchestration : Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes, ensuring scalability and reliability in production environments.

• Mentoring : Mentor a team of DevOps professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture

• Continuous Improvement : Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve our DevOps practices.

Qualifications

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience : Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer for 5+ years, with a lead role for atleast 1+years.

• Technical Skills : Proficiency in CI/CD and version control tools (GitHub, Github Actions, git), cloud platforms (AWS), configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).

• Programming and Scripting : Strong experience with programming and scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

• Containerization : Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.

• Infrastructure as Code : Hands-on experience with IaC tools like Terraform and Ansible.

• Process : Implement branching strategies and code review processes to enhance code quality and collaboration.

• Monitoring and Logging : Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana or Splunk.

• System and networking : Familiarity with system administration tasks, including managing Linux and Windows servers, configuring network services, and ensuring system security and performance optimization.

• Problem-Solving : Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

• Communication : Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

• Certifications : Relevant certifications in cloud platforms, DevOps tools, or related technologies are a plus.

• Security Compliance : Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements.
