Oracle Senior Software Developer in BENGALURU, India

Job Description

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

We need a developer with strong knowledge in Java/J2EE technologies.

In addition, developer should have good knowledge in build and automation systems like Ant, Jenkins.

Should have sound knowledge of Javascript, Knockout JS, RequireJS, CSS, HTML, jQuery. Oracle JET is a plus.

Experience working with Cloud infrastructure APIs, REST API model, and developing REST APIs

Should also be comfortable working with Linux scripting, Writing Java Junit tests. Should be willing to experiment new technologies.

Work is non-routine, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others.

Bachelors/Masters in computer science degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 6-8 years of software engineering or related experience.

Core requirements - Java/J2EE, 6-8 years industry experience in software development, strong knowledge in Java/J2EE, Javascript. Source control like Git. Should be comfortable with Linux

Career Level - IC3

Responsibilities

Work on features for Data Studio platform, which includes but may not be limited to the following:

  • Work closely with senior developers and architects as well as Product Management, IT and Operations teams for architecting, designing and developing various features

  • Designing and developing a user friendly and appealing user interface for the required features with the guidelines from UX team. Leveraging the Oracle JET components but ability to develop and customize the available components for specific needs.
