Duties
- Greet and assist visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Manage incoming calls and respond to inquiries with accurate information.
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for staff members.
- Perform data entry and maintain organized records using various software applications,
including QuickBooks, Smartoffice CRM, and tax preparation software.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and document preparation.
- Handle customer support requests efficiently, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
- Collaborate with team members to facilitate office management tasks.
Requirements
- Associates degree / certification in accounting, taxes, or bookkeeping. Will consider high school diploma with at least 1 year relevant experience in an accounting or insurance office.
- Previous experience as a receptionist or administrative role is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
- Familiarity with accounting and insurance processes and terminology is a plus.
- Proficiency in computer applications, particularly QuickBooks.
- Ability to adapt and learn new software in a timely manner.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills as needed.
