Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Starting Pay: $25-$28/hr

Responsibilities

  • Perform mechanical repairs on conveyor, bottling, and packaging systems.

  • Change motors, drives, belts, and gear boxes.

  • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment faults.

  • Field service calls throughout the facility to diagnose and resolve issues.

  • Fix machine and conveyor stoppages, change bad cylinders, fix photo eyes, and replace chains.

  • Conduct preventative maintenance during designated cleaning windows.

Essential Skills

  • Strong mechanical aptitude.

  • Experience with preventive maintenance, hydraulics, pneumatics, troubleshooting, gearboxes, motors, and conveyor systems.

  • Ability to read and understand electrical schematics.

  • Experience with welding and electrical systems.

  • Must have own basic set of tools.

  • Must be able to work one weekend day.

Work Environment

You will work standard shifts, either 2nd shift (3pm-11pm) or 3rd shift (11pm-7am). Expect to be on 1st shift for 4-6 weeks before transitioning to your actual shift. The work environment is a standard food production facility, generally cold but not unbearable. The facility is very organized with significant recent investments in new conveyor systems, blow molding lines, packaging lines, and more.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Little Rock, Arkansas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
