About the Position…

The Director of Digital Acceleration is a critical leadership position in the Global Governance Strategy and Operations team. This is a key role managing our portfolio of digital products, maintaining our long-term product roadmaps, and using technology to optimize and streamline our business processes.

What you'll do...

  • Creating and maintaining a product roadmap that includes future needs, ongoing development, and improvement opportunities.

  • Overseeing product lifecycle management, collaborating with the Global Technology.

  • Partnering with business leaders to identify opportunities to leverage technology and data to enhance decision-making and optimize business processes.

  • Identifying and exploiting opportunities to streamline technologies, promote cross-functional collaboration, reduce duplication and overhead, and modernize workflows.

  • Building strong relationships with the Global Governance business stakeholders and Global Technology.

  • Managing and maintaining application inventories across subject matter areas, maintaining a global product portfolio.

What you’ll bring…

  • Product Management and Strategy :

  • Proficiency managing business stakeholders, creating and maintaining product roadmaps, and overseeing product lifecycle management.

  • Skill turning business needs into actionable technology roadmaps, ensuring that product strategy stays in line with our company's objectives.

  • Ability to easily navigate complex business or technical processes, using your expertise to enhance product workflows.

  • History of successfully developing and executing long-term project plans, effectively managing product lifecycles to drive product success.

  • Process-minded approach and are always on the lookout for ways to boost efficiency and effectiveness in business processes.

  • Leadership:

  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders, cultivate a high-performance culture, and drive long-term project execution for product success.

  • Track record of cultivating a high-performance culture within your teams.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills enable you to confidently and effectively convey product strategies and updates to our senior leadership team.

  • Data-Driven Decision Making:

  • Skill leveraging technology and data to enhance decision-making, streamline technologies, reduce overhead, and modernize workflows.

  • Action-oriented approach maintaining product momentum while delivering on set targets.

Minimum Qualifications…

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related area.

  • 7 years’ experience in technology, system management and integration, process design, technology operations or related area, or, 13 years’ experience in product management or related area.

  • 4 years of supervisory experience

Preferred Qualifications…

  • Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, business administration, or related area

  • 10 years’ experience as a product manager, ideally working on consumer-facing, large-scale, highly complex products.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

3 years’ supervisory experience.
