What you'll do:
Manages the Layout Center by creating schedules for buyers, suppliers, and trucking companies to physically set modulars, conduct line reviews, produce layouts, conduct meetings, manage inventory traffic, and recommend quantity of merchandise to be ordered for presentation.
Oversees associate schedules and shipping and receiving process for the Layout Center.
Schedules space for buyers to conduct business with suppliers by maintaining and updating a spreadsheet documenting Layout Center fixtures, category locations and numbers, merchandise descriptions, and merchandise date in/out.
Ensures that correct fixtures are available to Buyers and responds to Buyer requests for additional space.
Manages Layout Center maintenance and safety by coordinating facility needs and enhancements.
Ensures proper ordering, functionality, and quality of equipment and fixtures.
Ensures that compliance requirements are met by meeting with the fire department to perform building inspection, following hazardous materials codes, and conducting training and certification of associates with power equipment.
Manages and oversees security of Layout Center facility by determining which associates receive keys to the building and monitoring use of building keys and alarm codes.
Partners with security and protection departments to address facility safety concerns, responding to alarm codes and disarming building alarms, and ensuring that confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements for products and information in the Layout Center are signed by suppliers.
Oversees administrative functions by conducting team meetings, communicating company directives, ensuring that invoices are paid, and monitoring operating expenses to ensure they are consistent with the budget.
Maintains the Layout Center by providing daily upkeep and enhancements.
Leads and participates in teams by using and sharing resources, determining customer needs and business priorities, and executing work assignments.
Provides support to ensure timelines and work quality are achieved.
Develops, communicates, and implements processes and practices to meet business needs by collaborating with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners.
Demonstrates, promotes, and supports compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by explaining, guiding, and demonstrating how to apply these in executing business processes and practices.
What you'll bring:
1+ years of supervisory or management experience of at least 3- 5 employees, preferably 5- 10 employees
Fork-lift certification and power equipment certification (double power jack, trash compactors, cardboard balers , etc.)
Experience communicating with leadership and executives in a professional setting
Demonstrates respect for others and drives a positive associate and customer/member experience for all
Demonstrates engagement and commitment to the team, developing others through feedback, coaching, mentoring, and developmental opportunities
Builds strong and trusting relationships with team members and business partners by working collaboratively to achieve objectives , communicating with impact, and listening attentively to a range of audiences

The hourly wage range for this position is $26.00-$51.00*
*The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
