What you'll do...
Join the Health & Wellness Compliance team to support the maintenance, growth and development of our compliance program concerning controlled substances dispensed in our pharmacies! Group Director, Specialty Compliance and Ethics, Health & Wellness, Controlled Substance Compliance is a critical thought-leadership role responsible for the design, implementation and execution of all foundational elements of our compliance program supporting the prescription, distribution, handling and dispensing of controlled substances in our pharmacies. In this role, you will collaborate with leadership and other partners on the Compliance team, both in Health & Wellness Compliance and more broadly across Global Governance, as well as with leaders and partners in the Pharmacy line of business.
What you’ll do….
Establish a roadmap for future enhancement . Assess the compliance program governing controlled substances and identify short- and long-term opportunities for compliance program initiatives, demonstrating the ability to prioritize immediate needs and plan for ongoing monitoring, enhancement and evolution of the program over time.
Build effective relationships. Establish relationships with key stakeholders and effectively integrate with the compliance teams to ensure programs are tailored to the needs of the team and the business.
Support enterprise and team success. Facilitate timely identification of compliance risks and develop effective mitigation strategies to enable successful implementation of team and business initiatives.
Operate with excellence – Identify KPIs and KRIs that measure and monitor team performance and potential risk areas. Set an example in managing to KPIs/KRIs, delivering excellence, presenting at all levels, and developing yourself and others.
What you’ll bring….
You’re a subject matter expert in controlled substances as well as healthcare compliance, with specific experience working in controlled substances, whether at a company, with a consultant or other third-party service provider, or in the public sector.
Extensive experience with implementation and execution of safeguards, controls, monitoring plans and other compliance functions in large, complex and matrixed organizations.
Demonstrated ability to influence across a complex organization and team structure to implement policies and/or controls while also holding team members accountable to act on those.
You’re process-minded and look for opportunities to streamline for improved efficiency and effectiveness.
You’re progressive in your approach to using technology, AI, machine learning and automation to make our processes more efficient.
Strong communication skills to interact with senior leaders and stakeholders.
Experience working in cross-functional teams within a corporate environment.
You’re organized, disciplined, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
You’re stimulated by challenges and are ready to engage at Fortune 1 scale.

The annual salary range for this position is $160,000.00-$320,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field and 6 years’ experience in compliance, ethics, legal, project management, or related area OR 8 years’ experience in compliance, ethics, legal, project management, or related area. 5 years’ experience using intermediate functionality of Microsoft Office. 5 years’ of supervisory experience.
