Position Summary...

The Senior Manager, Innovations will be responsible for working with the Product, UX, Engineering, and Business teams to design and deliver a superior EV charging experience. This position reports to the Director, Innovations, and is an individual contributor role based in Bentonville, Arkansas.

About the Team

The Walmart Energy Transformation team is a newly reimagined group reporting to the COO of Walmart US and the Chief Sustainability Officer, focused on achieving Walmart’s regenerative energy goals. Comprised of seasoned energy veterans, the team collaborates across various Walmart departments to support decarbonization efforts. They are innovators and change agents with diverse backgrounds in utilities, banking, clean energy consulting, and more.

What you'll do...

  • Manage innovation design development, collaborate with senior leadership, evaluate business state, identify opportunities, lead solution design, provide best practice guidance, analyze results, present and implement solutions.

  • Develop and validate innovation tests, identify improvement opportunities, create testing architecture, oversee training, analyze results, determine scalability.

  • Lead medium- to large-scale projects, collect requirements, gain deliverable buy-in, ensure completion, analyze performance, identify risks, provide leadership overview.

  • Consult on strategic initiatives, develop high-level plans, prioritize work streams, integrate timelines, ensure proper planning and delivery.

What you’ll bring…

  • Familiarity with EV Charging Protocols: Knowledge of protocols such as the Open Charge Point Protocol (OCPP) and ISO 15118, which are integral to EV charging communications.

  • Knowledge of IoT Applications: Experience with Internet of Things (IoT) technologies and their application in monitoring and managing EV charging stations.

  • Regulatory Compliance Awareness: Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to EV charging infrastructure to ensure compliance and safety.

  • Vendor Management: Experience in collaborating with hardware and software vendors to procure, implement, and maintain necessary technologies for the NOC.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Science, or related field and 4 years’ experience in program management, operations management, design innovation, financial analysis, or related area OR 6 years’ experience in program management, operations management, design innovation, financial analysis, or related area.

2 years’ experience using Microsoft Office.

2 years’ supervisory experience.
