Actalent Pharmacy Technician in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania
Pharmacy Technician
Key Responsibilities:
Prescription Management:
Collect and verify prescription information from customers or healthcare professionals.
Process prescriptions electronically, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Medication Preparation:
Measure and package medications for dispensing.
Label products appropriately, including any necessary cautionary labels.
Inventory Control:
Participate in periodic inventory checks.
Alert pharmacists about medication shortages or supply issues.
Customer Service:
:Assist customers with inquiries
provide guidance under the supervision of a pharmacist.
Compliance:
Comply with all safety and health regulations
Follow all pharmacy regulations and standards set by the State Board of Pharmacy.
What do you need?
6+ months experience as a pharmacy technician
Closed-door pharmacy experience is a huge plus
CPhT or PTCB is a huge plus
Understanding of medical terminology
Ability to identify medications
What's nice to have?
Excellent customer service/retail pharmacy skills
Attention to detail
Ability to work under supervision
Goal Oriented

Work Environment
Closed-door pharmacy environment with a focus on fulfilling the pharmaceutical needs of long-term care clients. NON-RETAIL pharmacy environment.
Shifts Available (due to change with hiring needs)
(2) 7a-3:30p, (2) 10p-6:30a, (1) 6a-2:30p, (1) 4p-12:30a
