Kidz Korner is hiring a Preschool and Infant Assistant Teacher. As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the early childhood experiences of young learners. You will create a nurturing and stimulating environment to facilitate the growth and development of preschool-aged children. Must be reliable, love children and willing to get required certifications as well as a federal background check upon hire. Responsibilities - Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities - Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment - Provide individualized attention to each child to support their learning and development - Utilize various teaching methods to engage young learners in literacy, physical education, and other areas of development - Communicate with parents through our app system to keep them updated on daily activities. - Monitor and assess children's progress to identify areas for improvement or additional support Experience - Previous experience in a daycare or preschool setting is preferred but will train as well. - Knowledge of childhood development theories and practices - Ability to communicate effectively with young children, parents, and colleagues - Experience in curriculum development and lesson planning is a plus but not mandatory. - Familiarity with toddler care practices and classroom management techniques is a plus. Hours: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week Subject to pre-employment background check.
