Job Description
We are looking for a motivated individual to join our growing electro-mechanical manufacturing facility! Candidates will be operating both conventional and computer numerical control (CNC) machines and machining centers to produce metallic and nonmetallic parts to established specifications. The ideal candidate will have 1+ year(s) of experience in machine operation in a manufacturing or production environment and experience reading blueprints or production manuals.
Responsibilities
Utilize blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, or other specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances of work pieces, setup requirements, and sequence of operations.
Apply knowledge of machining theory and procedures to operate various types of equipment and processes.
Machine parts using specifications, dimensions, and tolerances while verifying conformance to standards. Work with tolerances within one ten-thousandth of an inch.
Monitor processes to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining.
Conduct preventive and corrective actions to assure continuous process and quality improvement.
Perform quality and self-inspection using drawings, fixtures, jigs, and measuring instruments as per prints and process documentation.
Actively participate in instructions and coaching on the utilization of jigs and set processes.
Maintain the upkeep and cleanliness of the workplace and general area.
Essential Skills
1+ year(s) experience in CNC machine operation
High School diploma or GED with related machine trade experience

Work Environment
This position operates in a manufacturing setting with exposure to heavy equipment, machinery, and related noise levels. Primarily, the role involves standing for up to six hours per day, with some duties requiring short periods of sitting. The role requires the ability to lift 0-50lbs in the proper ergonomic position.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.
