Aerotek Welder in Blair, Nebraska
Job Title: Welder $20-26/hr, (nights +2/hr differntial $22-28)
Job Description
We are seeking experienced welders, particularly those with pulse welding experience. Candidates with MIG/TIG welding experience and an aptitude for pulse welding are also encouraged to apply. We have openings for both day and night positions.
Responsibilities
Perform welding tasks using MIG, TIG, and pulse welding techniques.
Read and interpret blueprints accurately.
Fabricate and weld components as per specifications.
Ensure high-quality welds and adherence to safety standards.
Operate welding equipment and tools efficiently.
Grind and finish welds as needed.
Handle both stainless steel and wire feed welding.
Essential Skills
6+ months of welding experience.
6+ months of blueprint reading experience.
Proficiency in MIG welding.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- 6+ months of pulse welding experience (preferred).

Work Environment
The work environment includes a combination of inside and outside work in a non-climate-controlled agricultural setting. Steel toe boots and jeans are required, though short sleeves are permitted. The 1st shift runs Monday to Thursday from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM and Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with mandatory 8 hours of overtime each Friday and optional overtime on Saturdays from 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM. The 2nd shift runs Monday to Thursday from 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM, with 8 hours of overtime included in Thursday's shift, and optional overtime on Saturdays from 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Blair, Nebraska.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
