We are looking for a skilled Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in the Healthcare industry based in Bloomington, Minnesota. This role will involve managing accounts payable in a healthcare setting, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in processing and monitoring outgoing payments. This is a long-term contract employment opportunity, offering the chance to work in a dynamic and rewarding environment.

Responsibilities:

• Process a high volume of invoices annually, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all transactions

• Manage cash payments to vendors, ensuring all payments are completed on time and according to established procedures

• Utilize your skills in 3-way matching to verify invoices, purchase orders, and received goods before making payments

• Prepare and send out Form 1099 for capital invoice payments and provide year-end close support

• Monitor customer accounts consistently to prevent fraudulent or missed payments

• Utilize accounting software systems and tools such as ADP - Financial Services, Concur, and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning to manage accounts payable

• Perform auditing tasks as needed to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards

• Handle account coding and accrual accounting tasks as part of the broader accounting function

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting purposes

• Manage transactions through the Automated Clearing House (ACH) for efficient and secure payment processing.

Requirements • Proficiency in Account Coding

• Familiarity with Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services

• Proficiency in using Concur

• Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Ability to handle Accounting Functions

• Experience in Accounts Payable (AP)

• Knowledge of Accrual Accounting

• Auditing skills

• Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH)

• Experience in 3 Way Matching

• Familiarity with Form 1099

• Ability to handle Approved Invoices

• Proficiency in Code Invoices

• Experience in Coding Invoices

• Ability to perform Batching

• Experience in Enter Vendor Invoices

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
