Description We are offering a contract for a permanent position as a Public Staff Tax Accountant in BOARDMAN, Ohio, 44513-3226, United States. In this role, you will be expected to handle a range of accounting responsibilities, from processing client records to preparing tax returns.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the preparation and filing of accurate business and individual tax returns.

• Handle the assembly of trial balances from client records, including the analysis and implementation of necessary adjustments.

• Assist in the preparation of payroll taxes and ensure adherence to all relevant regulations.

• Maintain client files with a high level of organization and detail.

• Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with clients to address tax and accounting related issues.

• Stay abreast of changes to tax laws to ensure compliance and capitalize on opportunities for client tax savings.

• Support senior accountants on complex tax projects.

• Utilize accounting software systems, including CaseWare, CCH IntelliConnect, CCH Prosystem, and CCH ProSystem Fx for efficient and accurate accounting operations. Requirements • Proficiency in various Accounting Software Systems is required.

• Experience and proficiency in CaseWare is a necessity.

• Ability to effectively utilize CCH IntelliConnect is vital.

• Demonstrable skills in CCH Prosystem are essential.

• Familiarity and proficiency in CCH ProSystem Fx is a must.

• Comprehensive understanding and execution of Accounting Functions are expected.

• Possess strong knowledge and experience in Auditing.

• Demonstrable experience in Compliance is essential.

• Experience in Entity Formation is a necessity.

• Ability to prepare and analyze Financial Statements is required.
