Description

We are in search of a AWS DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The individual will be tasked with identifying and implementing the most optimal cloud-based solutions for our operations. This position is based in Boca Raton, Florida, 33432, United States and will involve collaborating with our engineering team to ensure application performance, uptime, and scale while maintaining high standards of code quality and thoughtful design.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the engineering team to identify and implement the most optimal cloud-based solutions for the company

• Define and document best practices and strategies regarding application deployment and infrastructure maintenance

• Mentor and provide guidance to the development teams to build cloud competencies

• Ensure application performance, uptime, and scale, maintaining high standards of code quality and thoughtful design

• Lead the design and implementation of architecture for apps utilizing cloud services

• Engage in all aspects of the software development life cycle, from planning and development to testing

• Troubleshoot incidents, identify root cause, fix and document problems, and implement preventative measures

• Educate teams on the implementation of new cloud-based initiatives, providing associated training

• Use exceptional problem-solving skills to anticipate and solve issues before they affect business productivity.

Requirements • Proficiency in Amazon EC2, Ansible, Apache ANT+, Apache Tomcat, and Atlassian Jira is essential.

• Experience with Agile Scrum and Automation methodologies is required.

• Familiarity with AWS Technologies and Cluster Analysis is necessary.

• Strong knowledge in Configuration Management is expected.

• Proficiency in .NET, ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC Framework, Web API, and C# - Sharp is required.

• Ability to work in a team and independently as needed.

• Strong problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.

• Must be able to adapt quickly to new technologies and changing business requirements.

• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
