Description We are providing a short term contract employment opportunity for a Controller in Boca Raton, Florida. This role is in the finance industry where you will be working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.

• Produce accurate financial reports for management and stakeholders.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel to analyze complex financial data and extract relevant information.

• Develop and maintain financial accounting systems for cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control, and petty cash.

• Coordinate the preparation of financial statements, financial reports, special analyses, and information reports.

• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal budgetary reporting requirements.

• Establish and implement short-range and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.

• Design, establish, and maintain an organizational structure and staffing to effectively accomplish the department's goals and objectives.

• Serve as primary government liaison relative to financial issues. Requirements • Candidate must possess strong skills in Financial Reporting. This includes the ability to generate, analyze, and understand various types of financial reports.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential. The applicant should be comfortable with using advanced functions, creating spreadsheets, and data manipulation.

• A background in Operations is required. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing and improving operational processes, overseeing operational efficiency, and ensuring the smooth running of business operations.
