2Brothers Moving & Delivery currently has an opportunity for a telecommute HR Generalist. We are looking for someone who will be able to take ownership of the entire employee lifecycle, from recruitment through payroll, benefits, development and retention, while fostering our unique company culture and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Role (duties):
Responsible for a wide range of HR functions including the following:
Talent Management - Lead full-cycle recruitment with strategic hiring plans for peak seasons and international talent. Create effective onboarding processes and performance review systems with clear metrics. Support employee development and manage disciplinary procedures.
Culture & Employee Relations - Organize company events aligned with core values. Implement engagement initiatives and pitch sessions for potential hires. Address employee concerns, support conflict resolution, and coordinate training programs.
HR Operations & Compliance - Maintain employee records, ensure regulatory compliance, and document core processes across departments. Manage payroll, benefits administration, and make improvement recommendations based on market research.
Planning & Development - Partner with leadership on strategic initiatives. Develop multimedia training resources for onboarding and ongoing development. Take ownership of improvement projects and support departmental planning.
Goal Posts:
The ideal HR Generalist will play an instrumental role in elevating our employee experience and organizational effectiveness, they will:
Create training documentation for each core process in HR, accounting, and operations, ensuring our proven processes are consistently followed and align with our brand and values.
Implement a performance management system where every employee has clear metrics, knows where they stand, and receives structured feedback, reducing vague job reviews.
Develop a comprehensive onboarding program incorporating videos, presentations, and our company's core values and "proven process" to improve 90-day retention and strengthen our culture.
Build and execute a recruitment strategy that enables us to have "10 crew days" during peak season, develop pitch sessions for potential new hires, and establish a talent pipeline for bringing international staff to the US.
This role reports directly to the CEO.
The work environment:
You will be performing your job responsibilities from home, with regular video meetings with the rest of the team.
Qualifications:
Valid USA visa with ability to travel 2 weeks per quarter
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
3+ years HR experience including recruitment, payroll, benefits, and employee relations
Knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws
Experience creating HR documentation and policies
Dedicated home office setup with reliable technology
Compensation:
$1,000-$1,600 USD monthly
