Job Description

The WHS specialist responsibilities include the development of all company safety operations concerning the fire, emergency, safety, and environmental programs. The WHS specialist is also responsible for all safety policies including the federal, state, and local regulations and codes. They generally carry out various awareness campaigns for promoting the culture of safety.

Job Description

Main Responsibilities

• Analyzing the data to determine its quality, validity, and scientific significance.

• Communicate with the organization or public regarding the scientific, technical, or safety procedures undertaken.

• Provide technical guidance and support coordination regarding various safety issues.

• Organize workshops, conferences, and trainings to the employees regarding environmental management and safety issues.

• Provide information on environmental relevance by preparing charts, graphs, and presentations.

• Research the source of pollution and determine their effects on the environment.

Desired Skills

• Excellent verbal as well as written communication skills as well as excellent Customer service skills.

• 2+ years of experience in Occupational healthfield.

• Experience working in Companies with 400 to 1000+ employees. BPO''s Experience is a PLUS

• Proven experience with occupational health processes, work risks and implementation.

• Bachelor or higher degree is a MUST.

• Integrated to the respective professional association (Colegio profesional) .

• Intermediate - Advanced English skills.

• Ability of using various scientific rules and methods to solve problems

• Expert knowledge of safety system analysis.

• Ability to detect and solve problems effectively.

• Knowledge about the chemical compositions, structures, and other important properties of the chemical substances.

• Ability to work effectively even under pressure.

• Expert time management skills.
