Our client in the scientific industry is seeking a Laboratory Assistance to join their team. As a Laboratory Assistance, you will be part of the R&D team supporting the Sr Scientists. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, organization skills, and previous experience in a laboratory or analytical environment.

Job Title: Laboratory Assistance

Location: Bohemia, NY

Pay Range: $22/hour

What's the Job?

• Provide support to the R&D Sr Scientists by preparing samples for external testing, submitting samples to the labs, uploading results and preparing documentations, collect information to support risk assessment

• Maintain documentation, restorability and process according to the quality system in place, instructions and tools which are directly related to sample management

• Weight samples (ingredients and finished product) and submission to external Laboratories

• Creation of Analytical request

• Timely reporting of consolidated results and trends to the functions concerned

What's Needed?

• Apprenticeship programs or bachelors degree or equivalent work experience (microbiology, chemistry, food technology or other related fields)

• Previous experience in another laboratory or analytical environment is an asset
