A Facilities Mechanical Engineering Group Manager is needed for an engineering consulting company in the oise, ID (hybrid) area. This role is for a Facilities Mechanical Engineering Group Manager responsible for overseeing the design and implementation of complex mechanical systems in industrial facilities.

location: Boise, Idaho

salary: $55.00 - 62.52 per hour

work hours: 8am to 4pm

responsibilities:

  • Design and oversee piping and ducting for equipment heating, cooling, exhaust, and process chemicals/gasses.

  • Retrofit existing building systems for tool installation.

  • Conduct interviews, salary negotiations, performance evaluations.

  • Define roles and responsibilities, provide training and career development.

  • Provide technical training, quality checks, and assist with complex design portions.

  • Interact with clients and contractors for on-site construction assistance.

  • Collaborate with design staff, equipment owners, researchers, and manufacturers.

Skills:

  • Proficient in AutoCAD and Navisworks.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET Accredited University.

  • 12+ years in mechanical facilities engineering, including HVAC, hydronics, process piping, exhaust, plumbing, and related systems.

  • 4+ years leading engineering design teams and personnel development.

  • 5+ years with complex semiconductor manufacturing tools (manufacture, installation, or use in cleanrooms).

  • 2 years field experience.
