Summary We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our team at VPG. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth operation of our administrative functions, contributing to our mission of providing exceptional service to our independent retailer partners. Responsibilities Greet and assist employees in the facility appropriately and professionally as the first impression of our company culture. Prepares employees for proper cultural assimilation through onboarding, new hire orientation and assist with performance appraisals. Serves as a fairness advocate and manages employee relations issues: resolving employee grievances; counsels employees and leads. Prepare paperwork and documents needed for the plant floor operation. Responsible for communicating and carrying out company policies. Work with the production teams to gain an understanding of downtime logs, production lines and equipment. Document procedural processes and work cross-functionally with product owners. Review products for inconsistencies or abnormal appearance assuring product meets quality requirements.
