TEKsystems Code Operator (Medical Calls) in Boston, Massachusetts

Currently hiring for a large 3rd party call center service supporting healthcare organizations with triaging a variety of different calls. Their clients consist of 5 major hospitals and 260+ smaller clinics. It's a high volume call center in the hospital district of Boston. 30 Agents, 4 Supervisors, and some other HR/Support Staff.

Top Must Haves:

  1. They are looking for someone who comes from a hospital background . If they have experience with 2nd shift-overnight shift even better

  2. They are looking for someone who understands how essential this role is. This role will be answering CODE RED/BLUE calls

  3. Flexibility in schedule (10 hours of availability to be scheduled)

  4. Someone with positive attitude

  5. Near perfect Attendance needed

Reps are taking CODE BLUE/RED calls from the hospital. Their job is to determine who's on call at a client, pull up contact info in database and triage the call to the appropriate contact. Call time is typically under 2 minutes.

A "CODE" is a hospital emergency where certain hospital staff, trained for quick response, is needed. As a Code Operator, you will be responsible for promptly and accurately disseminating emergency codes and alerts throughout a hospital facility. Quick response time and clear communication is crucial in ensuring the safety and well-being of patients, staff, and visitors during emergency situations.

Training is typically 10:30 -6:30 /7pm for all shifts!

No Free Parking for first shift- they encourage people not to drive

ATTENDANCE IS MANDATORY DURING TRAINING 2-3 WEEKS

IF YOU MISS TRAINING YOU WILL BE DROPPED FROM THE CLASS

OPENINGS

2nd shift -Between 2pm-11pm, this includes working every Saturday. They will have Sunday and another day off during the week, days off may not be consecutive

OR

Overnight – Tuesday-Saturday between 10pm-8am.

As a Code Operator, you will be responsible for promptly and accurately disseminating emergency codes and alerts throughout a hospital facility.
