job summary:
We are seeking a motivated Product Industrialization Test Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring seamless product transitions from development to mass production. You will collaborate with vendors, enhance manufacturing processes, drive cost-saving initiatives, and support the release of new products and software. This position requires a hands-on problem-solver who excels in cross-functional environments, working closely with design, engineering, and manufacturing teams to ensure product quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery.

responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
- Vendor Collaboration:
Work closely with external vendors to ensure quality standards and manufacturing capabilities are aligned with company requirements.
Define test and validation procedures with suppliers to ensure product reliability and performance.
-Troubleshooting / first line of defense
- Manufacturing Process Improvement:
Lead initiatives to enhance manufacturing lines, focusing on efficiency, product quality, and consistency.
Analyze current production methods and equipment, suggesting upgrades or modifications to improve throughput.
Develop and optimize testing strategies for manufacturing processes to ensure product consistency.
- Cost-Saving Projects:
Identify and implement cost-reduction opportunities without compromising product quality.
Analyze production data and work with cross-functional teams to streamline operations and reduce waste.
- Product and Software Release:
Support the industrialization and release of new products, from prototype to mass production.
Collaborate with engineering and software teams to ensure seamless integration of software updates with hardware components during the manufacturing process.
Validate new processes and equipment in manufacturing settings, ensuring readiness for mass production.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Act as a key liaison between the product development, engineering, and manufacturing teams.
Provide feedback to design and engineering teams to ensure manufacturability and scalability of new products.
Ensure smooth communication and coordination with stakeholders during product launches.
- Test Development & Implementation:
Develop and implement test protocols for new and existing products to ensure compliance with internal and external quality standards.
Establish automated and manual test systems on production lines to ensure defect-free manufacturing.
Familiarity with documentation as related to a regulated environment (FDA facility experience preferred).
