Purpose: We are seeking a Buyer with a strong background in procurement and ERP/MRP systems to join our Boulder Operations team in supporting the manufacturing of our Quantum Cryogenic product portfolio. This position works cross-functionally with manufacturing, engineering, management, and suppliers to execute all aspects of material procurement to achieve required outcomes in meeting business targets for revenue and profitability. Position is on-site at the HPD Boulder facility.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Research, select, and purchase quality products and materials. Build relationships with suppliers and negotiate with them for the best pricing. Process purchase requisitions, track and report status, escalate with suppliers as needed to ensure timely delivery. Accountable for the timeliness and accuracy of purchase orders executed in terms of quantities, accounting, costs, and supplier delivery commits. Work with suppliers to manage shipment performance and address issues. Leverage ERP tools and processes to drive improved efficiency. Participate in teams to develop/improve business processes as a functional representative. Other duties as assigned.
Education, Experience and Skills Required 3+ years of applicable experience inhigh-tech manufacturing environment, preferably with ERP/MRP systems experience. Solid written and verbal communication skills in working with peers, internal customers, and suppliers. Intermediate capability with MS Excel and MS Word to manage/summarize data and provide reports. Ability to thrive in a high paced, dynamic, team environment.
Work Environment
This position operates in an office and laboratory setting. The ability to lift equipment or components up to 25lbs is required. Also, this role uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers.
The pay range for this role in Boulder, CO is between $60,600 and $79,590. The pay range may differ in other locations. FormFactor maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in education, training, skills, relevant work experience, business needs and market demands. Candidates are typical y placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
