  • We are looking for a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Diesel Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain Ford diesel engines, including trucks and other commercial vehicles. The ideal candidate will have experience working on Ford trucks, a strong understanding of diesel engine mechanics, and a commitment to providing exceptional service to our customers.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Perform diagnostics and repairs on Ford diesel engines, including powertrains, exhaust systems, electrical components, and fuel systems.
    • Conduct routine maintenance on Ford trucks, ensuring all systems are functioning efficiently and according to manufacturer specifications.
    • Troubleshoot and identify mechanical issues with Ford diesel engines using diagnostic tools and equipment.
    • Replace worn or damaged parts, such as alternators, starters, brake pads, and exhaust components.
    • Work with team members to complete complex repairs and installations, maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
    • Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and labor time for each vehicle.
    • Stay up-to-date on Ford diesel engine technology and repair methods to provide high-quality service to customers.
    • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards at all times.
    • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with customers regarding their vehicle issues, repairs, and maintenance schedules.

    Qualifications:

    • Proven experience working as a Diesel Mechanic, specifically on Ford diesel engines and vehicles.
    • ASE certification (Automotive Service Excellence) is a plus, but not required.
    • Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot and repair diesel engines.
    • Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems, including fuel injection, emissions, and electronic systems.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Good communication skills and customer service attitude.
    • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training in diesel mechanics is preferred.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
    • Comfortable working in a shop environment with exposure to noise, fumes, and varying temperatures.
    • Ability to stand, kneel, or crouch for extended periods while working on vehicles.
