Description

Robert Half is seeking a Full Charge Bookkeeper in the Bradenton area to help with the day to day accounting duties for a local CPA firm. Candidates must have strong experience with Excel VlOOKUPS, full cycle accounting experience, payroll processing, accruals, and preparing month end financial statements. The role is 100% onsite and is looking to hire immediately. If you have relevant experience, please apply to the role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform full-cycle accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.

• Process payroll accurately and efficiently.

• Manage accruals and prepare month-end financial statements.

• Utilize advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, to analyze and organize financial data.

• Handle sales tax reporting and compliance.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in full-charge bookkeeping or similar roles.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks, SAGE, and Gemini software.

• Strong understanding of sales tax processes and reporting.

• Advanced Excel skills, including experience with VLOOKUPs.

• Ability to work onsite 100%.

• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services

• Ability to use Computerized Accounting Systems

• Experience with Great Plains (GPAC)

• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel

• Understanding of Accounting Functions

• Knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) procedures

• Experience in handling Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Ability to assist in Annual Budget preparation

• Competency in Cash Flow Analysis

• Understanding of Accruals and Monthly Accruals

• Experience with Full Cycle Accounting

• Proficiency in Full Cycle Payroll
