Position Pays $90,000 - $95,000

This position is a hybrid in office 3 days per week in Brentwood, TN.

CoreCivic is currently recruiting for a full time Corporate Recruiter to join our team at our brand new FSC (HQ) location in Brentwood, TN (https://goo.gl/maps/DH6a52XnuEEA7enM6) .

This dynamic role requires a heavy blend of Talent Management skillsets and collaborates internally and externally with a variety of stakeholders. You will work directly with internal and external candidates, hiring managers, HR technology vendors, recruiting vendors, executive leadership, and nearly every other area of Human Resources. This position plays a highly visible role in filling critical corporate vacancies of various types. You will be joining a team of TA, HR, OD, and HRIS professionals to bring elevated levels of service to the CoreCivic organization.

You will work closely with TA and Corporate leadership to monitor recruitment-related issues and develop recruitment and sourcing plans. In this position you will assess hiring cycle processes and ensure consistency in the application of those processes to satisfy OFCCP requirements. This role also provides feedback of program and process implementations and proactively identifies staffing needs in order to source for and develop a robust pool of qualified applicants for all positions.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Corporate Recruiter supports hiring managers throughout the Facility Support Center (FSC) to fill executive, professional mid-level, information technology, accounting/finance, and administrative positions. Provides hiring managers with strategic direction for recruitment and job market analysis. Acts consultatively to build relationships and provide support and guidance relative to the hiring process. Partners with hiring managers to develop a recruitment plan to drive the recruitment process through to a hire. Manages the use of third party contingent search agencies. Serves as the primary point of contact to the local community and universities for career opportunities at the FSC. Develops candidate pipeline through job board posting, social media use, professional networking events, individual networking, cold-calling and advanced sourcing methods, to ensure a pipeline of candidates for open positions. Oversees the Talent Acquisition (TA) advertising budget for FSC positions and works with hiring managers to secure additional advertising funds when needed. Provides guidance, assistance and participates in interviews as needed to support hiring managers. Keeps hiring managers and TA leadership informed of the status of open FSC positions through system metrics reports. Acts as a career advisor and recruitment process SME for internal candidates. Serves as the primary point of contact for external candidates throughout the recruitment process and is responsible for ensuring a high quality applicant experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Administers the established internal and external ATS posting process for FSC positions.

  • Advises hiring managers of posting requirements and timelines, and ensures that applicable policies and procedures are followed.

  • Proactively interacts with hiring managers as a business partner to define current and future position needs.

  • Performs new position intake meetings with hiring managers to confirm qualification requirements, discuss compensation range, and set time to hire expectations.

  • Establishes the interview and selection process and recruitment timeline, as well as appropriate escalation triggers to ensure the position is filled in a timely manner.

  • Manages the applicant pipeline following up with the hiring manager on candidates as they are screened and submitted for review.

  • Identifies deficiencies in the applicant pipeline, and recommends additional recruitment tools, advertising spend and escalation triggers to include the use of third party agencies.

  • Conducts preliminary phone screenings with sourced candidates and qualified applicants.

  • Communicates with hiring managers throughout the selection process and reviews documentation to confirm that candidates have been properly dispositioned or provided proper follow up.

  • Maintains contact with candidates throughout the recruiting cycle to ensure a high quality candidate experience.

  • Facilitates interview schedules between the candidate and the hiring manager.

  • Provides interview questions and guidance to hiring managers.

  • Arranges travel, lodging, and meals for out of area candidates.

  • Escorts applicants to interviews; arranges community and/or facility tours.

  • Ensures all interview notes and documentation are maintained appropriately throughout the interview process.

  • Develops and maintains a pipeline of currently available and available for future opportunity qualified candidates.

  • Maintains a close partnership with Organizational Development team to ensure internal high potential candidates are in consideration for appropriate positions.

  • Acts as a career advisor and internal recruitment process SME for internal candidates.

  • Collaborates with hiring managers to identify candidate sources; manages the slate of approved third party agencies, including an annual review of success rates and usage rate.

  • Partners with procurement and the legal contract team to ensure contract agreements are in place before agencies are engaged.

  • Participates in candidate online populations, CoreCivic contract partner populations, and alumni, colleges, and other educational and military organizations.

  • Manages the online and other media advertising recruitment/marketing campaign spend for FSC open positions.

  • Recommends and requests additional advertising spend as needed for specific positions, and works with TA leadership or hiring manager to secure funds.

  • Identifies and shares new recruitment strategies as best practices with TA leadership.

  • Leads and coordinates local college recruiting, military and social networking recruitment efforts focused on FSC positions.

  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of employment laws and latest workforce and recruiting trends.

  • Ensures compliance with state and federal laws governing selection, hiring and employment.

  • Coaches hiring managers and provides expertise, training, and assistance in these areas as needed.

  • Domestic U.S. travel may be required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Human Resources, Communications, Psychology, Business or a related field.

  • Five years of recruiting experience in a corporate and/or agency environment with a focus on Direct Hires or Retained Searches.

  • Additional qualifying work experience in a corporate recruiting capacity may be substituted for the required education on a year for year basis.

  • Must have professional demeanor and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

  • Must be extremely organized, attentive to detail and able to build internal customer relationships.

  • Experience with an ATS.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

  • Valid driver's license is required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong, multifaceted sourcing ability.

  • Experience working with or within a government contractor with OFCCP requirements

  • Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and Indeed.

  • Experience with competency based interviewing programs.

  • Experience in IT or Accounting & Finance Recruiting is highly preferred.

  • Experience in an established staffing firm as an Account Manager or Professional Recruiter is a plus.

  • Experience in recruiting for Director and above level positions in multiple corporate disciplines or departments.

  • Experience leading or engaging in Talent Acquisition related projects.

  • Experience with Cornerstone OnDemand ATS is a big plus

  • Industry related sourcing, recruiting, or HR certification.

  • Strong internal client facing ability.
