[JOB OPPORTUNITY: Neurocritical Care Physician

[Hartford HealthCare Medical Group, Inc. (HHCMG) seeks two full-time Neurocritical Care Physicians with the following job duties: Provides neurocritical clinical care to inpatients, especially those with epilepsy; participates in clinical trials and research activities relevant to neuroscience and neurocritical care service; assists in neurocritical care education and training of support staff, residents, and fellows; participates in safety and quality improvement committees and activities; documents patient events in the EMR and completes paperwork necessary for patient billing. Works at St. Vincents Ambulatory Center, 2660 Main Street, Bridgeport, CT 06606 and St. Vincents Medical Center, 2800 Main Street, Bridgeport, CT 06606.

[The minimum requirements for the [Neurocritical Care Physician [position are: [U.S. Medical Degree or its foreign equivalent; completion of a four-year residency in Neurology and a two-year fellowship in Neurocritical Care; board eligibility or certification in Neurology and in Neurocritical Care Medicine; and possession of or eligibility for an unrestricted Connecticut medical license.
