Description We are offering an exciting long term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Manager in Bridgewater, New Jersey. This role is vital to our sales division, providing hands-on management for entries and forecasts related to sales and inventories. The successful candidate will be working in a hybrid model, with flexibility for remote work.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the accurate and efficient processing of accruals and prepaids within the sales division.

• Take responsibility for the preparation of sales and inventory forecasts.

• Manage the month end close process, ensuring all financials are accurate and up-to-date.

• Utilize SAP S/4HANA for various accounting tasks and data management.

• Leverage Hyperion Financial Reporting for effective financial reporting and analysis.

• Utilize advanced features of Microsoft Excel, such as pivots and lookups, for data analysis and reporting.

• Monitor and manage the overall financial health of the sales division. Requirements

• Proficiency in month-end close procedures

• Experience with accruals and prepaids

• Ability to carry out forecasting activities

• Knowledge of inventory forecasting methods

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required

• CPA or MBA preferred

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
