Description

We are offering an immediate opportunity for a contract employment opportunity for a Logistics Coordinator in a growing field, located in Bridgewater, New Jersey.

This role involves managing and coordinating shipments, maintaining and updating shipment reports, and working cross-functionally with various departments to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.

Responsibilities include:

• Coordinate shipments and ensure accurate documentation

• Work cross-functionally to meet customer needs

• Manage vendor relationships including carriers

• Maintain business relationships with key customer contacts

• Oversee packaging, supplies, and product availability

• Handle customer support, filing, and recordkeeping

• Address delivery issues with customers and warehouses

• Provide backup for order generation and invoicing

• Support inventory management and product returns with warehouse teams

• Review contracts, process RFPs, etc.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role

• Proficiency in business systems and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software

• Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and ERP solutions

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders

• Commitment to providing outstanding customer service

• Knowledge of customs procedures and regulations relevant to the industry

• Must be legally eligible to work in the specified location

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

• High attention to detail and organizational skills

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
