CS Partners, located in Brighton, MI, is currently seeking a full-time HR Information Systems (HRIS) Specialist  to join our team. In this role, you'll serve as the functional administrator of our HRIS system, working closely with a team of dedicated professionals to enhance and streamline our operations. This is a hybrid position, offering a blend of remote and in-office work.

As an HRIS Specialist, you'll play a critical role in supporting our mission by ensuring our technology systems with a focus on workflows, HR, accounting and personnel data operate efficiently and effectively across all departments. Essential Functions: 

  • Serve as the subject matter expert and developer for the PrismHR and Clientspace systems with an understanding of system features, capabilities, functionality, and limitations.

  • Collaboration with various teams to gather, document and implement solutions across various technologies, ensuring a focus on an outstanding end-user experience.

  • Implement processes to regularly test, conduct system audits and optimize performance in the software and workflow systems.

  • Lead and facilitate regular system release management and testing of the HRIS platform. Perform robust reviews of features and introduce and implement new applicable functionalities, supporting the departments by improved systems experience.

  • Manages permissions, access, personalization, and system operations and settings for internal and external users.

  • Manage the reporting systems, running ad hoc reports to support internal and external operational needs. Understand and anticipate customer needs to provide data with business insights and variations.

  • Identify and create internal and external training related to the software functionality.

  • Troubleshoot issues and serve as a point of contact for user inquiries.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to HRIS systems, incorporating relevant advancements to optimize system performance and functionality.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, business administration, or another related field.

  • Experience in managing HR Technology preference for 3+ years

  • Excellent decision making and critical-thinking skills

  • Work independently in a fast-paced environment, with minimal oversight

  • Experience with PrismHR or similar is a plus

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, including advanced functions and formulas
