Job Title: Warehouse Worker

Job Description

The individual will be unloading trucks by hand and sorting product according to location. They will de-palletize the pallet, breakdown and separate materials based on location. Utilize a pallet jack to place items in designated storage spots in the warehouse. Some clean up in the morning after loaders is required. The worker will check temperatures of products to ensure they were accurately stored, dealing with food to ensure nothing is spoiled. They will also move in and out of cold storage to stock and pull items, palletize for forklift movement, and may have to shrink-wrap and attach expiration date labels.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks by hand and sort product according to location.

• De-palletize the pallet and separate materials based on location.

• Perform clean up in the morning after loaders.

• Check temperatures of products to ensure accurate storage.

• Move in and out of cold storage to stock and pull items.

• Palletize items for forklift movement and may need to shrink-wrap.

• Attach expiration date labels to products.

Essential Skills

• Experience working in a warehouse environment unloading containers.

• Motivated, hardworking, and willing to learn.

• Attention to detail and ability to follow verbal instructions.

• Ability to move and lift up to 50 lbs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with pallet breakdown, plastic wrapping, loading, unloading, heavy lifting, forklift operation, packing, packaging, RF scanner, material handling, order picking, and palletizing.

Work Environment

The work environment is a warehouse with dry and freezer areas, similar to a smaller Costco setup. Steel-toed boots are required. The shift is from 11 AM to 8 PM.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00
