This role supports the Innovation Lead in managing and executing projects that drive innovation and process improvements across finance teams, such as Treasury, Payroll, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, and others. The position involves suggesting innovative ideas, supporting project management activities, and collaborating with various departments to enhance operational efficiency. While an overview of tools and technologies is beneficial, it is not mandatory for this role.

This role does not have any direct reports and reports to the FSSC Operations Optimization Lead.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Innovation Lead in managing and executing innovation projects.

  • Brainstorm and suggest innovative ideas and process improvements.

  • Collaborate with wider finance teams to support cross-departmental projects.

  • Provide project support, including documentation, tracking, and reporting.

  • Facilitate communication between departments to ensure project success.

  • Contribute to developing best practices for project management and process improvements.

  • Provide regular updates to the Innovation Lead and relevant department heads on project status and outcomes.

  • Actively participate in knowledge-sharing sessions and contribute to the internal trainer community.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Business, Project Management, or a related field.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Good communication skills in English (B2).

  • Ability to work well in a team and build relationships across departments.

  • Enthusiasm for learning and contributing to innovative projects.

  • Basic understanding of project management principles is a plus.

  • Interest in finance and shared services operations is a plus.

  • Familiarity with any automation tools or software is a bonus but not required.
