Summary of Internship
The Internship positions provide an opportunity for engineering and data science students to get hands on experience in improving the Product Lifecycle Management solutions in global Designer environment.
Internship opportunities within Engineering include:
Solutions development and testing
Technical support and training
Continuous improvement
Hiring Location: Brno, CZ
Essential Functions:
Become familiar with the processes and standards for TPD creation and maintenance
Collaborate with Operations and RnD teams to set problem or enhancement specification requirements
Collaborate with PDM team members develop solution, test specification and create training documentation
Accept feedback and look for areas of improvements
Specific tasks will be tailored to the intern’s experience level and abilities
Qualifications:
Student currently enrolled in classes leading to an accredited bachelor’s degree in a related engineering or life cycle management field
Preferred majors : Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or other related engineering/science major
Strong desire and motivation to develop a career in Product Lifecycle Management area
Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-functional team
Ability to learn, be mentored, and improve
Desire to contribute and improve setup of new and existing PLM/CAD solutions
Passionate about standards and data quality
Desire to teach other Designers about new system setup and digital innovations
Though not mandatory: knowledge of any of the following tools is advantageous: AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Siemens NX, Teamcenter, or other CAD/PLM system is beneficial
