Oracle Senior CI/CD Automation Engineer in BRNO, Czech Republic

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and passionate engineer to join our growing team and play a pivotal role in our CI/CD journey. As a CI/CD Automation Engineer, you will be the driving force behind the automation and efficiency of our software delivery processes. Your expertise in software development, testing, and automation will be key to enhancing our internal development experience and ensuring smooth, reliable deployments.

Our engineers are responsible for creating and maintaining the infrastructure that enables over 1000 developers to deliver high-quality software efficiently. This role will contribute to the entire CI/CD ecosystem, from designing and coding microservices to maintaining the CI/CD orchestrator and supporting our Kubernetes-based deployment process.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement automated build and deployment pipelines to streamline software delivery across the organization.

  • Develop and maintain internal tools, plugins, and services that enhance the CI/CD infrastructure, ensuring a smooth developer experience.

  • Write high-quality, testable code for microservices using Java Spring to support the CI/CD process and Kubernetes cluster management.

  • Conduct thorough code reviews, providing valuable feedback to maintain coding standards and share best practices.

  • Collaborate with internal customers to understand their deployment needs and provide solutions for deploying applications to Kubernetes clusters.

  • Set up and maintain test environments for Kubernetes cluster testing, utilizing behavior-driven development practices.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to CI/CD processes, offering timely and effective solutions.

  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, and documentation.

  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in CI/CD, DevOps, and software automation.
