Red Hat Software Quality Engineer - Kernel Hardware Enablement in Brno, Czech Republic
TheArch Hardware Enablement team is looking for a Software Quality Engineer to join our team in Brno, Czech Republic. In this role, you'll use existing test suites against Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and the latest upstream Linux kernel, offering you the chance to work with cutting-edge technologies. We seek open-minded candidates with strong analytical skills who are ready to learn new technologies. Come prepared to work with some of the brightest engineers in the open-source community.
What you will do
Execute Kernel tests and analyze the results
Report the results to all stakeholders
Work closely with kernel developers to debug the issues found
Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites in coordination with other teams
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in testing technologies
What you will bring
Ability to read C code
Solid Linux administration skills and scripting experience
Previous experience with software testing
Intermediate written and verbal communication skills
Some experience with testing tools.
