As a Business Systems Analyst, Sr within PNC's ET&SF CIO Fraud Engineering – Pindrop Project, you will be based in one of our Technology Hub locations (Pittsburgh, PA, Cleveland, OH, Dallas, TX, Birmingham, AL. Weekly time in office is needed.

Technical skills/experience of the position:

  1. Agile experience complete with user story creation

  2. Data mapping experience for adding new tables/fields to systems or for passing data from one system to another

  3. Ability to support stakeholder User Acceptance Testing

  4. JIRA, Confluence and MS Office experience

  5. Understand the development, testing, release cycle

Diverse experienced candidates are welcome, but Banking experience is a plus. The Fraud Engineering Team is technically driven and experience collaborating with developers and testers is necessary. Strong Agile knowledge, user story creation and data mapping experience are a plus.

This BSA will be part of a Team of BSAs, Scrum Masters and Release Managers. This BSA is expected to work as part of an Agile Crew collaborating with a Product Owner, other Stakeholders and users. The BSA will rely on the Scrum Master for help, support and Agile coaching. This Team is diverse and dispersed. They work well together and collaborate on many things.

Key responsibilities will be working with Product Owners and key stakeholders to create requirements through the creation of user stories. Development, testing and implementation of this functionality will use these stories and follow Agile methodology. Data mapping exercises are important parts of these user stories and help the developers write their code and testers complete and execute their test scripts.

Job Description

  • Participates in analyzing business requirements and production specifications for changes made to technology applications.

  • Formulates and defines the system scope and objectives, based on user needs and business processes .

  • Directs business process improvement projects for internal business groups, aiming to improve business results .

  • Identifies and documents all system constraints, implications and consequences of various proposed system changes .

  • Provides recommendations for addressing and resolving business issues, for a specific business group .
