Position Summary:

Supervises and coordinates various processes within the Patient Registration department and other departments which perform scheduling and registration functions including patient registration, scheduling, managed care notification/authorization, insurance verification, patient valuables and patient financial services. Performs front end data quality review of patient demographic, insurance and physician information for the purpose of correcting information before billing and providing feedback to staff and management as necessary to improve the quality of data collected to support billing, reimbursement and financial reporting of information.

Education/Experience/Licenses/Technical/Other:

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent required. Bachelors degree in Business Administration or equivalent education

• Experience : Requires three to five years prior experience in hospital setting.

• Certification/Licensure: N/A

• Software/Hardware: Meditech registration experience strongly preferred.
