Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
Diagnose operating problems on a variety of machines and equipment, utilizing advanced diagnostic and repair tools. Perform electrical installation and maintenance work on plant systems and apparatus, ensuring compliance with codes and schematics. Conduct skilled fitting of machine components and machining of replacement parts, and perform millwright duties to install and wire new equipment.
Responsibilities
Diagnose operating problems on all varieties of regular and complicated machines and equipment.
Use voltage meters, ohm meters, phase rotation tester, micrometers, torque wrenches, gauge blocks, precision squares, oscilloscope, and laser equipment for diagnostic and repair/alignment purposes.
Work from drawings, specifications, and schematics.
Perform skilled fitting of bearings and spindles and align machine components.
Lay out and machine complicated replacement parts requiring involved machine setups and operations.
Perform a wide variety of electrical installation and maintenance work on plant electrical systems, equipment, and apparatus.
Lay out and install complex wiring circuits and distribution centers in accordance with codes.
Diagnose and repair problems with a wide variety of electronic controls, requiring knowledge of relay logic, digital logic, ladder drawings, and diagrams.
Contact outside vendors or service technicians as needed to obtain information regarding problems with machines or controls.
Perform necessary millwright duties to install and wire new equipment or to remove old equipment.
Essential Skills
CNC maintenance and repair
Electrical and mechanical repair of custom-built CNC grinding machines (multi-axis, proprietary machines)
Hydraulics
Schematic reading
PLC troubleshooting
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to read, interpret, and follow blueprints, shop routings, and specific engineering notes related to unique customer specifications.
Basic math and trigonometry skills
Demonstrated mechanical and electrical knowledge and repair abilities
Certifications in OSHA programs and practices preferred

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $66560.00 - $81120.00/yr.
