Enrollment Registrar Coordinator
POSITION DETAILS
Brooklyn College is soliciting applications for an Enrollment Registrar Coordinator. Reporting to the Registrar or designee, the Enrollment Registrar Coordinator will serve as a generalist within the Office of the Registrar providing support across key registrar functions, including student records, residency, enrollment and degree verifications, ePermits, degree audit, and registration. This position ensures compliance with FERPA and CUNY policies while assisting students, faculty, and staff with inquiries related to registrar services. The incumbent will play a vital role in maintaining accurate student records, streamlining administrative processes, and enhancing the overall student experience.
In addition to the CUNY Title Overview, duties include but are not limited to the following:
Ensure compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) in all interactions and record-keeping processes.
Advise and assist students, faculty, and staff on registrar-related policies, including residency, enrollment/degree verification, registration, and degree audit.
Process, evaluate and maintain student records, including residency applications, enrollment and degree verifications, ePermit requests, and/or degree audits in the PeopleSoft Campus Solutions system, and related systems (e.g., DegreeWorks, Parchment, etc).
Collaborate with key campus offices, including Undergraduate and Graduate Admissions, Financial Aid, and other student service departments, to enhance student experience.
Participate in cross-training initiatives within the Office of the Registrar to support operational efficiency and service delivery.
Provide excellent customer service via in-person interactions, email, phone, and virtual communication channels.
Support campus recruitment and retention efforts, including open houses, orientations, and related student engagement activities.
Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree required.
Preferred Qualifications
One (1) year of higher education experience, preferably in a Registrar or Academic Advisement setting.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Familiarity with CUNYfirst (PeopleSoft SIS) or similar system.
Familiarity with DegreeWorks.

Interprets and communicates academic, registration and enrollment policies and procedures
Assists with registration and provides information to prospective and enrolled students in registration and records-related areas
Complies, generates, and updates various reports, catalogs, and inventories
Maintains compliance with established record release procedures, including the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)
Collaborates with College and University offices to address inquires and concerns and resolve student registration and record problems
May participate in activities related to course scheduling and maintaining course databases
May monitor and revise the content of web pages and other communication materials
Performs related duties as assigned.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
$44,411 - $49,960; Salary commensurate with education and experience.
