Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Full Charge Bookkeeper out of the construction industry to join our client's team, based in Brooklyn, New York. In this role, you will be tasked with a variety of accounting functions, including processing transactions, maintaining the general ledger, and managing Accounts Payable and Receivable. You will also be involved in bank reconciliations and AIA billing.

Responsibilities:

• Handle bookkeeping tasks, focusing on accuracy and timeliness.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for reporting and creating pivot tables.

• Ensure all general ledger entries are recorded correctly.

• Conduct bank reconciliations to monitor financial transactions.

• Manage AIA billing process, ensuring all invoices are accurate and sent out on time.

• Oversee Accounts Payable and Receivable, ensuring all transactions are processed efficiently.

• Maintain accurate customer credit records, updating as necessary.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Full Charge Bookkeeper role or similar in the Construction industry is required

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel including reporting and Pivot Tables

• Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions

• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Familiarity with AIA Billing procedures

• Proven track record in conducting accurate Bank Reconciliations
