The Agile Robotics and Perception Lab at NYU Tandon School of Engineering is seeking to hire a Post Doctoral Researcher/Post Doctoral Associate to join an exciting project on the Agile Robotics and Perception Lab at the New York University. New York University (NYU) is one of the top private universities in the United States, and the Tandon School of Engineering, located in Brooklyn, has the distinct history of having been known previously as Brooklyn Poly and the NYU Polytechnic School of Engineering.
Candidates will be responsible for conducting scholarly research, writing papers and help mentor students and perform work in a multidisciplinary environment. The successful candidate will join a highly dynamic and established robotics research group to work in the multi-robot planning and control area combining data-driven and physics-based techniques to create novel approaches that can enhance scalability, computation, and navigation speed of the heterogeneous robot teams in unstructured and dynamic environments compared to existing state of the art solutions at the theoretical and experimental levels. We are seeking individuals with a strong background in robotics, machine learning, aerial robot autonomy, trajectory planning for single and multiple robots. In addition, the candidate will have to show mastery in software programming and common tools used in robotics such as C/C , Python, and ROS as well as a track record in publishing in international conferences and journals in the area of robotics, computer vision, and control. In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this positoin is $62,500 to $70,000.

We welcome applicants from recent PhDs and individuals seeking additional postdoctoral training. Eligible candidates will be required to present eligibility to work in the United States.
