Job Title: Commercial Loan Specialist

Location: Remote

Duration: 3 months contract (with possible extension)

Job Description:

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Insurance Specialist to join our team. This role involves evaluating complex insurance-related matters for commercial properties, ensuring compliance with investor guidelines, and managing diverse tasks that vary day-to-day.

• If you have experience in Loan Servicing, Commercial Insurance, or Real Estate , and can self-manage tasks while assessing and articulating complex risks, this opportunity is for you.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and ensure compliance of insurance for commercial properties held as collateral for lenders and investors.

• Conduct insurance analysis, premium disbursements from escrow, and risk assessments.

• Review appraisals and correspond with servicers, investors, borrowers, insurance agents, and internal departments.

• Protect investor interests in adherence to individual investor guidelines, Pooling and Servicing Agreements, applicable laws, and mortgage documents.

• Manage and self-direct a wide range of responsibilities, ensuring timely and efficient execution of tasks.

Experience:

Must have experience in Loan Servicing, Commercial Insurance, or Real Estate .

Skills:

• Analytical Skills: Ability to evaluate complex risks and articulate findings effectively.

• Character Attributes:

• Proven tenure with previous roles.

• Community involvement or volunteering experience.

• Demonstrates humility, positive attitude, and receptiveness to constructive feedback.

• Self-Management: Capable of managing diverse, varying tasks independently.

Education:

• High School Diploma Required, Four year college degree is plus
