Description
We are recruiting an Office Manager role for our team located in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. In this role, you will handle a variety of accounting tasks, including the management of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, journal entries, and month-end processes, within the manufacturing industry.
Responsibilities:
• Efficiently and accurately oversee the processing of customer credit applications.
• Maintain and manage customer credit records with utmost precision.
• Promptly address and resolve any customer inquiries that arise.
• Monitor and manage customer accounts, taking necessary actions when needed.
• Oversee and ensure the efficient operation of both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Prepare and post journal entries with accuracy.
• Carry out month-end close procedures effectively and within the required time frame.
• Effectively utilize Odoo and other relevant Accounting Software Systems to optimize tasks.
• Partner with the HR department on payroll-related tasks.
• Collaborate with the CPA to develop and maintain financial statements.
• Conduct reconciliation tasks focusing on credit card accounts as needed.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel and Great Plains for various accounting functions.
Requirements • Proven experience in Account Reconciliation, ensuring all financial records are accurate and up to date.
• Proficiency in handling Accounts Payable (AP), ensuring timely and accurate payment processing.
• Demonstrated skills in managing Accounts Receivable (AR), including invoicing, collections, and revenue recognition.
• Experience in performing Bank Reconciliations, identifying and resolving any discrepancies in financial records.
• Solid understanding of Bookkeeping principles and practices, maintaining accurate financial records.
• Ability to perform Data Entry tasks quickly and accurately, ensuring the integrity of financial data.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel for financial data management and analysis.
• Experience in performing Month End Close procedures, ensuring all financial transactions for the month have been accurately recorded.
• Familiarity with QuickBooks, using it for managing and maintaining financial records.
